Committee on Rules and Order of Business (Rules Committee)
"The RNC
Rules Committee has been reviewing and modifying the Rules
of the Republican Party for the past three years. These amendments will
be presented to
the RNC and then to the Convention Rules Committee, which will
review these changes and propose final Rules, as amended, for adoption
by the convention."

Credentials Committee will receive the credentials of each
delegate filed in accordance with the Rules and submit the temporary
roll of the convention,
which will have been previously reviewed by the RNC. The Credentials

RNC Committee on Contests, as to the seating of delegates to the
convention."

Announces Open Press Events For Pre-Convention Week & RNC Summer
Meeting
WASHINGTON - The Republican National Committee (RNC) announces the
following open
press events for 2012 RNC Pre-Convention Week events and RNC Summer
Meeting. Pre-Convention Week meetings include Platform, Credentials and
Rules and will be held throughout the week of August 20th. The 2012 RNC
Summer Meeting will be held from Wednesday, August 22th through Friday,
August 24th. Meetings will be held at the Marriott Waterside and the
Hyatt Regency in Tampa, Florida.
Press
credentials are required for admittance as there will be heightened
security due to Convention preparations. Non-credentialed press will
not be allowed into the meetings.
