PFAW Releases
Spanish-Language Ads in Eight States, Coinciding with
Trump Campaign Launch Anniversary
Today, People For the American Way (PFAW) launched a new
Spanish-language ad as part of its new campaign, “Donald Trump’s Year
of Hate.” Today marks the one year anniversary of Trump’s campaign
launch.
“One year ago, Donald Trump went down that escalator to
declare his
candidacy and declare his war on Latinos,” said People For the
American Way Director of Latinos Vote! and Manager of
Political Campaigns Lizet Ocampo.
“Our campaign highlights just some of the ways Donald Trump’s divisive
rhetoric and policies hurt Latino communities and all Americans, and it
urges people to stop Donald Trump’s hate by registering to vote and
casting their ballots against him in November.”
The
Spanish-language ad announced today will run on TV in Nevada and
Virginia, and on digital platforms in Nevada, Virginia, Colorado, North
Carolina, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
