Managed Congressman Danny Davis' brief campaign for Mayor of Chicago in late 2010. In 2010 Perkey managed the campaign of David Yates (D) who defeated incumbent Doug Hawkins (R) for the District 25 seat on the Louisville Metro Council. He ran Marty Meyer’s unsuccessful bid against state Sen. Dan Seum (R-Louisville). Senior strategist on Tyler Allen's Democratic primary campaign for mayor of Louisville.
