Bachmann for President

"Michele Bachmann at the Reagan Library Presidential Debate" +
  1:32 web video from Sept. 7, 2011.

Bachmann: Hi, my name is Michele Bachmann; I'm the Republican candidate for President for 2012.  I want to thank you so much for the excellent outstanding support that you have given to me in this wonderful quest to become the next president of the United States.

I'm here at the Reagan Library.  We've just completed the debate and I'm so happy that you followed.  I'll need your continued support going forward to take my pro-growth job creation message across the nation.  That message resonated.  That's why we won the Iowa Straw Poll, because I believe without a shadow of a doubt as a former federal tax lawyer and as a small business creator that we need to have permanent solutions, not temporary gimmicks and fixes.  I believe that its the private sector that creates jobs, not government-directed solutions.  That's really the frame and the dynamic of this election and we've seen people resonate to that message.

Tonight was great here at the Presidential Library.  I enjoyed being here; I'm glad that you followed.  I need you.  Would you please let at least one or two of your friends know what a great journey this is going to be, and I'll need you to help carry me all the way to the White House so that I can take your voice and your concerns not just to the halls of Congress, but to the White House where it hasn't been heard for a very long time.  Together we can do this and we can secure the promise of the future for the next generation.
