"Is
The America We Love A Thing Of the Past? Newt Says No"
+
:60 ad run starting Dec. 5, 2011 on IA cable and network TV.

Gingrich: Some people
say the America
we know and love is a thing of the past. I don't believe
that.
Because working
together I know we can rebuild America.
We can revive our economy and create
jobs.
Shrink government and the
regulations that strangle our businesses.
Throw out the tax and replace it with
one that is simple and fair.
We can regain the world's respect by
standing
strong again. Being true to
our faith and respecting one another.
We can return power to the people and the states we live in so we'll all have more freedom, opportunity, and control of our lives.
Yes, working
together we can and will Rebuild the America we Love.
I'm Newt Gingrich and I approved this message.
Notes: The
Gingrich campaign's first ad is a feel-good ad featuring Gingrich
talking to the camera and lots of beautiful iconic stock imagery.
The
campaign sent out an email "What They're Saying about Newt
2012's First Television Ad: 'Reaganesque, optimistic and unifying'"
with a collection of reporters' quotes
including some comparing this ad to Reagan's 1984 "Morning in America."
The campaign also sent out a fundraising email which stated, "As promised, this ad is about more than scoring cheap political points, it is about inspiring confidence in the American people that with our collective values, faith, and strength we can overcome the incredible adversity we face as a nation. After viewing this positive message about the future of America, please consider helping us bring it to the voters in Iowa and beyond by making a generous contribution to our campaign."
