Jon Huntsman for President

"An Authentic Conservative" +
  2:35 web video from June 21, 2011.

[Music] Male Announcer: What's it mean to have principles?  Hard and fast conservative principles?  No flips, no flops.  That's Jon Huntsman.  Historic tax cuts as governor of Utah.  Largest tax cuts ever.  Business tax cuts.  Personal tax cuts.  Earned the top ranking in tax policy from the conservative Cato Institute in 2008.

To Jon Huntsman conservative means creating free market health care reform, the kind that President Obama and Massachusetts should have studied.  No mandates, lower costs, government out of our health decisions.

Conservative means being on the right side of the Second Amendment, gaining praise from the NRA, supporting concealed carry.

Means understanding that conservative principles make businesses grow, increase employment.  Jon Huntsman created the best environment for in the country.  Expanded his state's economy five years straightxxeven during the downturn.  What other state can say that.  Created jobs.  Cut waste.  Increased household income 5-percent during tough times.  Was called number one in conservative tax policies once again.

Conservative to Jon means being forever pro-life, throughout his career, throughout his life.

Means understanding that not all modern conservatives must be loud or angry.  Jon's boss Ronald Reagan knew that.  It's better to be effective, actually change our world for the better.

One strong principled conservative changed the world before.  Another strong principled conservative is ready to lead us now.  Jon Huntsman.

Notes: The video opens on a photo of Reagan, and references and shows him several times.  There are several barbs at Romney without mentioning him directly ("No flips, no flops."  and, on health care, "...the kind that President Obama and Massachusetts should have studied")  The images of the angry conservatives are a bit jarring.
