Jon Huntsman for President

"Jon's Years as Governor" +
  3:06 web video from June 21, 2011.

[Music] Male Announcer: A governor leads.  This one did, anyway.  Led Utah into the best economy in the country, national independent rankings.  Best managed state, best place in the country for businesses, to build one, to move one, like Disney and Procter and Gamble did.  Worked the job hard.  No accounting tricks or magic formulas.  Strong, smart, conservative.  Future thinking.  Just did the right thing.  Largest tax cuts in state history, across the board.  Businesses yes.  Individuals too.  Reduced sales tax on food to help low- and middle-income families.  Helped everyone.  That's what a leader does.

Cuts government waste.  Brings opportunity.  Creates jobs by the thousands.  By the thousands.  Even in the toughest economy.  Made Utah an international business intersection.  Open doors to trade with China, India, Canada, Mexico—not just one way.  Exports too.  Proud to be the first Utah techie governor.  Smart guy, Jon Huntsman.  Prepared students for jobs in science, energy, engineering, biotech and math.  Led health care reform the right way.  Passed a?the plan Massachusetts and the country should have studied.  No mandates.  Free market based.  Not government-run.  Forever pro-life.  Throughout his career, throughout his personal life.  Never a pot-stirrer; just gets the job done.

Before he was governor, served as U.S. Ambassador to Singapore.  Youngest in a century.  Then came home to Utah.  While governor, the nation called again and he answered.  This time as Ambassador to China.  Because country comes first.

This guy is different.  Quiet.  Conservative.  No drama.  Effective.  One of the most successful governors ever.  Think what he could do for our country.  Jon Huntsman.

Notes: The video makes a rather large claim "One of the most successful governors ever."  There is also a dig at Romney on health care.
