Jon Huntsman for President

"#1 vs. #47" +
  1:36 web video from Sept. 6, 2011.

[Huntsman music] Female Announcer: Beneath all the bluster, beneath the razzle and dazzle, numbers never lie.

As the conservative governor of Utah, Jon Huntsman quietly, thoughtfully led Utah to leading the nation in job creation.

Jon Huntsman.  Utah.  Number one.

[slow "Take me out to the ball game" music] About the same time another governor led Massachusetts, led them close to the very bottom.  Massachusetts ended up 47th in job creation.  47th out of 50.

[Huntsman music] Number one, the leader in job creation...

[slow "Take me out to the ball game" music] ...or one of the saddest records?  Beneath all the bluster, that is our choice.  Who can we trust to create jobs where Obama has failed?

[Huntsman music] Number one...

[slow "Take me out to the ball game" music] ...or number 47.  One man's record is sadly similar to that of Obama's.

[Huntsman music] The other man has the proven, number one job creation record, background and temperament to beat Barack Obama.

For your family.  For America.

Notes: A campaign email states:

Governor Huntsman’s economic plan builds on exactly what he did in Utah. His unparalleled record of tax cuts, free-market health care, reduced regulations, increased exports and pro-growth policies created an environment that made Utah #1 in the nation in job growth.

On the other hand, the American people should hope that Governor Romney’s plan builds on exactly the opposite of what he did in Massachusetts, where he raised corporate fees and taxes and passed a government health care plan that includes mandates and fines on small businesses and job-creators.

While Governor Huntsman’s economic policies helped Utah lead the nation in job growth, Governor Romney’s policies resulted in Massachusetts ranking #47 in job growth – nearly dead last.
