(MANCHESTER, NH)(February 24, 2011) From one end of the political spectrum to the other, Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin’s new anti-Obama TV ad is beginning to spread across the Internet: (cut and paste the entire link below and not just the underlined portion):

“The most common comment has been that the ad looks ‘presidential,’” Andy told a Manchester, New Hampshire news conference Wednesday. “That’s great. The ad has been remarkably well received, perhaps because it does represent a real presidential campaign ad and not just a screed against Obama. In fact, our testing shows Democrats are just as receptive to the ad as Republicans. It’s ‘tuned’ right. My ad discusses a serious and sensitive issue in a serious and dignified manner. It is not a screamer. That’s why it is receiving so much attention.

“Thursday evening the ad starts airing on WMUR-TV in Manchester.

“While I’m not making moving plans just yet, the ad proves that I am going to be a serious factor in the 2012 presidential election.

“Today, I am the only Republican presidential candidate with an anti-Obama message. The rest of the candidates? Well the rest of the ‘presidential patsies’ are afraid to take on Obama. You can never win a battle if you are afraid of your opponent. They are not yet sure if they have enough of the ‘right stuff’ to formally announce they can fill Obama’s shoes. Pshaw.

“But, since I can’t ‘debate’ myself, I am going to have to start ‘debating’ my opponents even if they are afraid to formally announce as candidates.”

Martin told the news conference New Hampshire Republican Party “officials” were at the forefront of the “Defeatist Wing of the Republican Party.”

“If the New Hampshire Republican Party’s leadership does not stop harassing me,” Andy said, “There will be no ‘first primary’ in New Hampshire. Republicans nationally want a tough fighter. Rank-and-file Republicans want to attack Obama, not just surrender without a fight. Washington ‘elitist’ Republicans and their counterparts in the New Hampshire Republican Party want to capitulate and forfeit the election to Obama, by undermining candidates who are confronting Obama. These persons have no business ‘leading’ the party with a first primary.

“The ad shows that my advertising agency knows how to produce TV advertising that conveys a message most Americans will find appealing and informative. That’s what a political ad should do.

“Practically speaking, if we don’t get the financial support we need to saturate the airwaves, we won’t be able to energize the Republican Party to stop hiding its head in the sand.

“We are looking for financial angels to sponsor the ad in Iowa, South Carolina and nationally,” Andy noted in noting how the ad is spreading across the Internet.

Martin then left New Hampshire for a New York City news conference on Thursday.

“Birther” movement set to “explode” in 2012 presidential campaign

Republican Party Presidential Candidate and conservative columnist Andy Martin will hold a Manchester, New Hampshire news conference Wednesday February 23rd to preview his new presidential campaign ad. The ad features Obama authors Martin and Jerome Corsi. “This is an explosive ad,” Martin says. “I intend to defeat Barack Obama and I am well on the way to doing so. I suspect over 100 million Americans are going to ‘endorse’ my ad. It’s here.

For the first time, Barack Obama will have to defend against a genuine anti-Obama campaign ad

Andy Martin says his anti-Obama ad is a “game changer” in New Hampshire, Iowa and South Carolina

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

ATTENTION NATIONAL AND NEW HAMPSHIRE DAYBOOK/ASSIGNMENT EDITORS

ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW HAMPSHIRE PRESIDENTIAL NEWS CONFERENCE

Andy Martin will release the first anti-Obama television ad of the 2012 presidential campaign

Martin has versions of the ad ready for Iowa, South Carolina and national cable TV networks

Martin says he needs money to run the ad nationally

Andy is the only officially-announced Republican presidential candidate

Apology from Andy: I am sorry that we had to issue two (2) news releases for February 23rd but we are generating so much campaign activity in New Hampshire that we thought Americans might want to know who the real fighter is among the Republican presidential candidates

(MANCHESTER, NH)(February 23, 2011) Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin holds a Manchester news conference today, Wednesday February 23rd at 2:30 P.M. to release the first television ad of the 2012 presidential campaign. The ad is a devastating attack on Barack Obama. Martin is well-known in Illinois for his aggressive broadcast advertising.

Martin will meet with media and Republicans at his “fighting camp” at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manchester to release and discuss the ad.

“I began producing TV commercials forty-two years ago,” Martin says. “I have produced 30 second TV ads, one hour TV programs, 60 second radio ads and a lot of other political media. My signature does not always appear on my work.

“Wednesday we are going to release an advertisement that I believe is going to be a ‘game changer’ in both the Republican and Democratic Parties. Yes, both parties. The ad is going to initiate a process of undermining and delegitimizing Barack Obama that could possibly bring Hillary Clinton back into presidential politics.

“I think the ad is that good. Many think it is the most ‘Reaganesque’ ad they have seen since The Gipper’s own commercials. The ad certainly will not hurt my claim that I am the candidate who is most capable of duplicating the Reagan Revolution. That’s why I call my campaign the ‘New Ronald Reagan Revolution.’

“Now all we need is the money to saturate the air waves.

“We have versions of the ad ready for Iowa, South Carolina and national cable TV networks.

“The ad was created by my advertising agency, and the production work was done by WMUR-TV in Manchester. Needless to say, we are very happy customers of WMUR-TV. We have successfully worked together in the past.

“The ad is scheduled to start running in a WMUR-TV locally-produced New Hampshire-oriented program (Chronicle New Hampshire) on Thursday, February 24th (7:30 – 8:00 P.M. EST). We don’t know what time the ad will run within the program.

“When this ad hits the airwaves it is going to be a neutron bomb dropped on Barack Obama. Obama will be alive but his political invincibility will be dead. The ad will explode the myth propagated by Fox News, Bill O’Reilly, Karl Rove and Dick Morris that there is no way to launch a frontal political attack on Barack Obama’s credentials.

“In closing, let me observe some ironies. On February 22nd we were at the TV station doing final post-production and media buying, while another potential candidate (Senator John Thune) dropped out of the race and another (Rick Santorum) essentially disappeared in New Hampshire.

“I am the only Republican presidential candidate attacking Barack Obama. Period. Full stop. The other Republican presidential patsies are navel gazing. They can’t even decide if they have the ‘right stuff’ to fill Barack Obama’s shoes by formally announcing their candidacies.

“Up in heaven, I am probably Bill and Nackey Loeb’s candidate.

“I do not suffer from the inner doubt of the Republican patsies. I am the most qualified and perhaps the only Republican presidential candidate who can mount a credible reelection threat to Obama. That’s why the liberal media try to stifle my efforts and why Obama’s local stooges attack me relentlessly.

“The further irony is that while I am in New Hampshire producing the only anti-Obama ad, and I am the only anti-Obama candidate, the Chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Party has been attacking me with lies and distortions and trying to undermine my candidacy. Who is this clown ‘chairman’ working for?

“While I am the only Republican who is conducting a credible campaign against Obama, some Republicans attack me? What is wrong with this picture?

“Bottom line: if New Hampshire Republicans do not remove their crackpot chairman and put a serious political leader in charge, one who will embrace my campaign, why should New Hampshire retain the first primary? I want the first primary to be held in a state that welcomes all candidates and allows me to conduct my presidential campaign against Barack Obama. I could well be the presidential candidate. Take a look at the ad and decide for yourself,” Martin says.

Andy returns to his New York headquarters on Wednesday evening.
