"JoinObama.com: Building an
Organization - (888) 705-0047" +
:30 ad run on cable in Iowa starting Nov. 28, 2011.
Obama (voiceover): I'm Barack Obama and I approve this message.
[Music] Obama (to camera): It starts with one person making a decision that things need to change, and they're going to help change them. That person finds another person who shares their values. They go out and find a few more, and before long neighborhoods come together, communities organize, a movement builds. It all starts with you making a decision to get involved. Because we've got so much more to do.

Notes: The
Obama campaign's first TV ads made a very low key appearance, first
noted by an NBC News
reporter's Tweet. The Obama campaign is very much into metrics,
and this
is clearly a test of two ads. The -0047 ad seems considerably
more effective; upbeat music runs throughout, and the content of
Obama's message is stronger (in the 0046 ad the message kind of peters
out and the music is tacked on at the end).
