Tea Party: A New Birth of Freedom +

[Music] Pawlenty: I think the Tea Party, a great addition to the conservative coalition, and the coalition for change in this country.  They are part of the energy, the passion, the call for change and they mean it, and I think that's a great energy.  And each generation need a big change.  Historical change in this country usually starts with a group that's somewhat fresh, somewhat new, starts out with a little bit of outsider status, but then over time they become the driving force for change.  And I think the Tea Party is a welcome, helpful, energetic forward leaning organization. [crowd roar SFX]

[Music swells] Pawlenty (clip from speech): We the people of the United States will rise up again, we will take back our government.  This is our country.  Our Founding Fathers created it, Americans embraced it, Ronald Reagan personified it, and Lincoln stood courageously to protect it.  Now as ever this nation under God shall have a new birth of freedom.  Our government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth and America will remain the greatest country the world has ever know.  [applause, cheers].  God bless you and God bless the United States of America.
