"What Governor Perry Does On His Day Off." +
  1:52 web video from Nov. 8, 2011.

Perry: Well, I don't play golf so this is my golf.  I come out to LaRue Tactical and Mark and Ellen LaRue, a couple of great Americans, great patriots, they make one of the finest sniper rifles in the world.  The special operators out there, the SEALs, the Delta Force guys, they all know LaRue Tactical and they love their equipment.  They make, as I said, the finest weapons in the world.

Behind us here is, they've got a 100 meter range, and five rounds have to be in one inch away or better.  So every one of them goes through that.  I'm still trying to get a hole in one...
Mark LaRue
:(laughs) You've gotten real close.
Perry: ...five rounds in the same hole, but I haven't quite gotten there yet.  I think about a .556 is my best.

But for me it's really relaxing and frankly to get to come and hang out with a bunch of just what I consider to be patriots, the men and women that work here..

When I'm not out here at LaRue Tactical doing my form of golf, you'll probably find me at the running trail.  I don't get to [Town Lake?] as much as I'd like to, but the hills out in west Travis County, you'll see a lone runner out there, a good chance it might be me.  And then that black dog'll be running along with me on a leash and then the weiner dog and her are where I really have my big fun when I get back home.

Football, huntin', barbeque...it's a great time of the year.

Notes: The YouTube blurb notes, "Governor Perry's record on the Second Amendment is unsurpassed."
