Buddy Roemer for President

"Free to Lead" +
  1:44 web video from Oct. 6, 2011.

[Music] Roemer (to camera): I'm Buddy Roemer, I'm running for president—president of the United States of America.

Roemer (clip): I'm Buddy Roemer, former governor of Louisiana.  Man: How are you doing?  Roemer: I'm running for president of the United States.

Roemer (to camera): I'm a farm boy, I'm a small businessman, I'm a family guy.

Roemer (clip): I'm the only guy running who's been a congressman and a governor.

Roemer (voiceover): I'm the only guy running for president who's written a Constitution.

Roemer (clip): I'm familiar with politics.

Roemer (voiceover/clip): I've been out for 20 years; those are the best 20 years of my life.  I've learned valuable lessons.  It's time to do it right.

[Music up tempo] Roemer (to camera/voiceover/clips): People told me when I ran for governor and congressman and I didn't take PAC money that I couldn't win, because they believe that they need to be in charge.  Here's my belief.  We need to be in charge.  Across the country, we need to do this.  It's our time.  I see America as it could be, as a land of opportunity.  I see America that can make things.  I see America that's strong.  That's why I run.  Defend our jobs from unfair trade.  Lift our children to better opportunity, speak to the world about our values.  I am unafraid to discuss these issues, and that's what this campaign's going to be about.  You can be part of a country that can help change the world.  One that was free and open and fair and strong and one that you always wanted to live in.

Roemer (clip): I don't take PAC money, no special interest money—need you to watch me.  I'll be free to lead and I'm going to talk about things that this country needs to hear.

Notes: Lots of clips of Roemer interacting with New Hampshirites.
