Two Different Plans On Social Security

Mitt Romney: Reform And Strengthen

Rick Perry: End Federal Program, Send To The States

Take Florida For Example…

In Florida Beneficiaries Receive $50.5 Billion Per Year In Benefits

Tax Revenue To Fund Social Security $34.5 Billion Per Year

Annual Shortfall $16 Billion Per Year

What Could That Look Like?

One In Four Seniors Lose Benefits

Or

Cut Every Florida Senior’s Benefits More Than $4000 Per Year

Or

Eliminate Florida’s K-12 Education System & Florida’s Prison System

Rick Perry (audio clip): “I haven’t backed off anything in my book. So read the book again.”

Notes: In terms of graphic design, this is a nicely executed attack video.  It would also be nice if it devoted equal time to Romney's plan to reform and strengthen Social Security.

According to the campaign press release, "The video highlights the devastating effect that Rick Perry’s proposal for Social Security could have on the state of Florida."  Concurrent with the release of the video, the campaign issued an updated 19-page white paper "Rick Perry's Proposal To Turn Social Security Over To The States" from which the numbers are drawn.
