Obama for America
Obama for America
"Mitt Romney versus Reality" +
1:25 web video from April 5, 2012.
[Music] Romney: He went around the world and apologized for America...
Obama: We will not
apologize for our way of life...
Romney: He's also
failed to communicate that military options are on the table...
Obama: I will not
hesitate to use force when it is necessary to defend the United States
and its interests...
Romney: He said
that he was going to lower taxes for the middle class. Hasn't
done that yet.
Obama: We cut
taxes—we cut taxes for 95 percent of working families...
Romney: The reason
why we have high gasoline prices...maybe it's related to the fact that
you've stopped drilling in the Gulf.
Obama: Under my
administration we have a near record number of oil rigs operating...
Romney: Guess how
many agreements this president's put in place? Zero.
Obama: Last month
we finalized a trade agreement with South Korea that will support at
least 70,000 American jobs.
Romney: In his
State of the Union address he didn't even mention the debt or the
deficits.
Obama: When it
comes to the deficit, we've already agreed to more than $2 trillion in
cuts and savings.
debt...the deficit...deficit...deficit...deficit...debt...that's how
we'll reduce our deficit.
Romney: This is a
president who fundamentally believes that this next century is the
post-American century.
Obama: We will make
the next century another great American century.
Notes: Dueling snippets
starring Obama as reality. The video is effective at making
Romney look like he does not know his facts, but is not as effective as
the "Mitt Romney versus Reality" video from yesterday. Whereas
that video juxtaposed clips of one speech from each candidate, In this
video one doesn't
know the context or dates of the various snippets, making it highly
suspect.
