TEXT:  which helps ensure equal pay for equal work......

Sam Stein: Yeah, does Gov. Romney support the Lilly Ledbetter Act?

Romney campaign person: ...[pause]... Sam, we'll get back to you on that.

[Music] Lilly Ledbetter: President Obama understands this inequity that women suffered, the devastation that it has caused in families.  The president has made so many strides in the last three years to upgrade women's treatment and their jobs, and their livelihoods.

Lilly Ledbetter: This is not Republican, and it's not Democrat.  It's civil rights.  It's a human right.  It's a right that each of us should have, not based on our party affiliation, but based on who we are, and what we do, and is it right.
