Obama for America

"Interactive calendar: Stay in the loop on events near you" +
  0:48 web video from May 7, 2012.

[Music] Jeremy Byrd, National Field Director: Hey everyone, my name's Jeremy Bird, the campaign's national field director.

On any given day in 2012 our campaign's volunteers and organizers are holding grassroots events all across the country.  From going door to door in Ohio and registering voters in Colorado to training Neighborhood Teams in North Carolina.  It's how we'll win in November.

And now's the time to say you'll be a part of it.

Stay in the loop by signing up for your campaign's organizing calendar.  You'll get the latest information on campaign events near you, plus updates throughout the year on stuff like early voting deadlines and days of action.  Because our grassroots campaign is only going to grow between now and election day.  See you out there.

Notes: Byrd first announced the calender on Nov. 6, 2011.  This appears to be a re-rollout coinciding with Obama's first official campaign rallies.

Old description of thie calendar...

Today, we're rolling out an interactive campaign calendar that's going to play a crucial role in keeping us all looped in the organizing we're doing. It's got it all -- from upcoming primaries and debates to neighborhood canvasses and trainings happening in your community. We'll be updating this calendar regularly -- and you'll know about changes as soon as we do, because it can sync with your personal Outlook and Google calendars online. So all your important campaign dates, like the last day you can register to vote where you live, will be in the same place with your all your other to-dos.
