"Romney Economics: Republicans on Romney's Massachusetts Record" +
  1:25 web video from June 1, 2012.

[Music]

Romney (clip): You have an opportunity to get to know me best by looking at my record as governor.

Romney (clip): I'm pretty proud of a very conservative record and that record I think'll stand up to that of virtually anybody else running in this race.

TEXT: But other Republicans don't agree...

Perry (clip from debate): You failed as the governor of Massachusetts...

        TEXT: On Jobs

Santorum (laughing): If Mitt Romney's an economic heavyweight, we're in trouble because he was 47th out of 50 in job creation in the state of Massachusetts when he was governor.

Gingrich (clip from "Meet the Press"): He ended up third from the bottom in job creation...

Perry (clip from debate): We created more jobs in the last three months in Texas than he created in four years in Massachusetts.

McCain (clip from 2008 debate): And while the rest of the country was losing 7-percent of the manufacturing jobs while he was governor, 14-percent of the manufacturing jobs left the state of Massachusetts.

Huntsman (clip from debate): The whole discussion around this campaign is going to be job creation.  How can you win that debate given your background?

        TEXT: On Taxes

Gingrich (clip from "Meet the Press"): His record as governor was very clear...he was pro-tax increase.

McCain (clip from 2008 debate): As I understand it his record was that he raised taxes by $730 million.  He called them fees; I'm sure the people that had to pay it whether they called them bananas, they still had to pay $730 million extra.

Romney (clip): If people want to know what I stand for, they can look at my record as governor.

TEXT: Romney economics: It didn't work then.  It won't work now.

Notes: According to the video description...

"Mitt Romney ran for governor of Massachusetts promising more jobs, decreased debt, and smaller government. By the time Romney left office, state debt had increased, the size of government had grown, and Massachusetts had fallen behind almost every other state in job creation.

"Other Republicans agree: Romney economics didn't work then, and it won't work now."
