"President Obama's
Measure of Progress" +
1:12 web video from April 18, 2012.
[Drumbeats] TEXT: August 28,
2008 Denver, Colorado
Obama: You see we
Democrats have a very different measure of what constitutes progress in
this country. We measure progress by how many people can find a
job that pays the mortgage, whether you can put a little money away at
the end of each month so you can someday watch your child receive her
college diploma...
TEXT: On September
3, 2012 Barack Obama and the Democrats
Will meet in Charlotte, North Carolina
Here's what you won't hear at the Convention
Obama: We measure
progress by how many people can find a job that pays the mortgage...
North Carolina has lost nearly 50,000 jobs since President Obama took office
That's over twice the size of the arena where the Convention
will be held
Unemployment rate is 9.9%
In Charlotte unemployment is even higher 10%
In total 450,000 North Carolinians are unemployed
Up 13% since Obama took office
Obama (Feb. 2, 2009 clip):
"If
I
don't have this done in three years, then there's going to be a
one-term proposition."

Notes: Very similar to the
April 10 video "President Obama Has Failed Florida Workers" even to the
same running time, 1:12. The video hits Obama on unemployment,
has text on screen instead of narration, uses a speeded
up montage of (Charlotte) scenes, and concludes with the same quote
from
Obama.
