Notes: According to the press release...

"President Obama’s attacks on free enterprise have triggered a backlash among many—even among those in his own party. In just the past few days, everyone from former advisors to his own surrogates have criticized the Obama campaign’s attack on free enterprise. With no record to run on, it is no surprise that the Obama campaign has resorted to misleading attacks that have been disavowed by its own supporters."

Following his appearance on "Meet the Press" Booker issued a 3:42 video "Mayor Booker Expands on His Support for President Obama." +

There was a bit of controversy over how Booker's video came to be, as the RNC pointed out in a May 22 video:

RNC Rapid Response Video "Dishonest Attacks, Dishonest Cover-up"

WASHINGTON - The Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new web video "Dishonest Attacks, Dishonest Cover-up" showing the Obama campaign's cover-up of Cory Booker's moment of truth. After standing up to the Obama campaign's attacks on free enterprise, Mayor Booker was chastised, demonstrating that a defense of the private sector will not be tolerated in Obama's Democrat Party.

When asked yesterday afternoon about the 'hostage video' response, Obama campaign Press Secretary Ben LaBolt said they had not reached out to Mayor Booker and that "he released that video of his own volition...the campaign did not ask him to do so." Yet, last night, Mayor Booker admitted that these conversations had occurred with campaign officials. All of this demonstrates just how far the candidate of 'Hope and Change' has fallen to become the president of dishonest attacks and dishonest cover-ups.
