Romney for President

"American Strength - North Carolina" +
  1:18 web video from June 7, 2012.

[Music]

Romney: They're going to look back on these years as a very troubled time in America.

And how you answer is going to depend in part on what happens about a year from now.  Because about a year from now you're going to wake up and turn on the TV and it's going say one of two things.

One, the TV could come on and say President Obama has been re-elected to a second term.  And if that's the case you know what the next four years look like.

[Music up-tempo]

I spent my life in the private sector.  I spent my time in business, and in business, by the way, there's no question about whether or not you're going to balance the budget.  You have to balance your budget, or you go broke.

To make government simpler, smaller, and smarter we have to take government itself and make it more productive and more efficient.

We can't keep buying and spending and passing on debts to our kids.

American strength is the best ally peace has ever known. The world needs a strong America. Our families need a strong America. The future needs a strong America.

This is a critical time for us.

Notes: The reference to a year from now is out of date, and the quotes are kind of strung together.
