Obama for America

"Seen" +

:30 ad from Oct. 18, 2012 run in VA.

Obama (voiceover): I’m Barack Obama and I approve this message.

[Music] Female Announcer: Seen this from Mitt Romney?

Then take a look at this:

Clip from Nov. 28, 2007 debate:
Anderson Cooper: “If Roe v. Wade was overturned, Congress passed a federal ban on all abortions, and it came to your desk – would you sign it?  ‘Yes’, or ‘no?’”  Romney: “Let me say it: I’d be delighted to sign that bill.”

Female Announcer: Banning all abortions?

Romney: “...I’d be delighted to sign that bill.”

Female Announcer: Trying to mislead us? That’s wrong.

But ban all abortions?  Only…if you vote for him.

Notes: A response to the Romney ad "Sarah."  According to the press release...

Mitt Romney is dishonestly trying to claim that he isn’t staunchly opposed to a woman’s right to choose. On the campaign trail and in a recent television ad, Romney is cynically hiding his real position from the American people because he knows it’ll hurt his chances to win. As highlighted in Obama for America’s new television ad, the real Mitt Romney said he would be “delighted” to sign a bill that banned all abortions – period. Romney may try to change his image just weeks before Election Day, but he can’t change the fact that women can’t trust him.
