The president is protecting Medicare.

Obama: We're not going to turn Medicare into a voucher.

This is all part of keeping a commitment, a pledge to your generation but also to future generations.

This ad is emblematic of the disappointing approach of Obama's campaign. It goes immediately to attack Mitt Romney's plan.  What is Barack Obama's plan?  Are these programs in trouble?  If so what is he going to do about it?
