>Rep. Michele Bachmann finished her 99-county tour of Iowa on December 27-29, 2011, continued to campaign in the state through January 3, 2012, and on January 4, 2012 announced the suspension of her campaign.
On December 27 she made ten stops starting late due to a flight delay: she made a stop and did a media availability at Scooter's Coffeehouse in Council Bluffs; at stop at King's Crossing Cafe in Mondamin; a stop at Dairy Queen in Onawa; a stop at Pizza Ranch in Harlan; a stop at Oasis Steakhouse & Lounge in Glenwood; a stop at Penn Drug in Sidney; a house party at the home of Robin Read in Shenandoah; a stop at the Pizza Ranch in Red Oak; a stop at the Pizza Ranch in Atlantic; and a stop at Darrell's Place in Hamlin.
On December 28 she made stops in 11 counties: a meet and greet at Nodaway Diner in Greenfield; a meet and greeet at Adams Street Expresso in Creston; a meet and greet at Kay's Kafe in Corning; a meet and greet at Junction Cafe in Bedford; a stop at Peggy Sue's Good Eats in Mount Ayr; a meet and greet at Family Table restaurant in Osceola; a stop at the Pizza Ranch in Indianola; a meet and greet at the Northside Cafe in Winterset; a meet and greet at the Pizza Ranch in Waukee; and a meet and greet at the Pizza Ranch in Boone.
On December 29 she did an interview with Jan Mickelson at WHO Radio, followed by a media availability, in Des Moines; an employee town hall at Principal Financial Group in Des Moines; remarks to the Iowa Association of Mortgage Brokers at the State House in Des Moines; a meet and greet at Legends American Grill in Marshalltown; a meet and greet at Snack Time Family Restaurant in Nevada, the final stop of the 99-county tour; and an interview with Simon Conway at WHO in Des Moines.
On December 30 she did a meet and greet at Black Bear Diner in Sioux City; a meet and greet and remarks with Congressman Steve King at Crossroads Restaurant and Lounge in Early; and a stop at Central Perk (coffee house) in Fort Dodge.
On December 31 she did a KCCI-TV lunch with undecided voters at the home of Becky and Charlie Beach in Des Moines; and made GOTV calls with volunteers from her headquarters in Urbandale.
On the morning of January 1 she gave testimony at the Jubilee Family Church in Oskaloosa.
On January 2, she did drop bys at Paula's Restaurant and a couple of other businesses, followed by a media availability in West Des Moines; and an evening "Countdown to Caucus event at her campaign headquarters in Urbandale.
On January 3 she spoke at Rock the Caucus at Valley High School gymnasium in West Des Moines; make remarks at the Black Hawk County caucus super site at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls; and spoke at her caucus night event at the West Des Moines Marriott.
On January 4 she announced the suspension of her campaign in a press conference at the West Des Moines Marriott.

On December 14

On December 20 she made stops in nine counties: a meet and greet at Falcon Civic Center in Independence; a meet and greet at Victories Restaurant and Sports Lounge at Upper Iowa University in Fayette; a meet and greet at the YMCA in Postville; a meet and greet at the Franklin Hotel in Strawberry Point; a meet and greet at the Pizza Ranch in Manchester; a meet and greet at World Manna Java Cafe in Dubuque; a meet and greet at Flapjack's Family Restaurant in Maquoketa; a meet and greet at the Clinton County GOP Central Committee meeting at DeWitt Community Center in DeWitt; and remarks at a John Archer for Congress house party at Archer's home in Bettendorf.
On December 21 she made 10 stops in southeastern Iowa: a meet and greet at Elly's Tea and Coffee House in Muscatine; a meet and greet at Godfather's Pizza in Wapello; a meet and greet at Ivy Bake Shoppe in West Burlington (50th stop of the tour); a stop at Ivy Bake Shoppe in Fort Madison; a stop at Village Cup and Cakes in Keosauqua; a stop at First National Bank in Fairfield; a stop at the Pizza Ranch in Mount Pleasant; a meet and greet at Frontier Family Restaurant in Washington; a stop at Cedar Lanes/T-Beck's Lounge in Tipton; and a stop at Noelridge Park Church in Cedar Rapids.
On December 22 she visited with voters in 10 towns: a meet and greet at the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa; a meet and greet at the Pizza Ranch in Vinton; a meet and greet at the Southard Implement Company in Tama; a meet and greet at the Brooklyn Library in Brooklyn; a stop at Doose Cafe in Marengo; a meet and greet and remarks at the Hamburg Inn in Iowa City; a stop at the Pizza Rance in Sigourney; a stop at the Pizza Ranch in Oskaloosa; and meet and greet at Mom's Place in Albia (66th county); and a stop at Country Kitchen in Ottumwa.
On December 23 she visited with voters in six towns: a meet and greet at Oasis Coffee House in Bloomfield; a meet and greet at Tangleberries in Centerville; a meet and greet at Lodge Pizza & Steakhouse in Corydon; a meet and greet at Papa Leo's Restaurant in Chariton; a stop at the Christian Opportunity Center in Pella; and a meet and greet at Uncle Nancy's Coffee House in Newton.

Michele Bachmann visited Iowa on December 9-10, 2011.  On December 9 she spoke at an employee town hall at Nationwide Insurance in Des Moines.  On December 10 she is to participate in the Iowa Veterans GOP Presidential Candidate Forum at Varsity Theater;(did not appear due to debate prep; husband Marcus spoke instead); she participated in the ABC News/Republican Party of Iowa Debate at Drake University; and stopped by a post-debate watch party at her headquarters in Urbandale.

Michele Bachmann visited Iowa on November 30, 2011.  She spoke at a Presidential Candidate Education Forum "Addressing the Challenges and Opportunities in Education Today" at the University of Northern Iowa's Bengtson Auditorium in Cedar Falls; held a town hall at the Pizza Ranch in Waverly; and held a town hall at the Pizza Ranch in Charles City.

Michele Bachmann visited Iowa on November 25-27, 2011, doing eight book signings for Courage of Conviction.  On November 25 she did a signing at the Historic Park Inn & Conference Center in Mason City; a signing at Family Christian Store in Waterloo; and a signing at River Lights Bookstore in Dubuque.  On November 26 she did a signing at the Radisson Hotel in Davenport [note Quad-Cities Online reported that "only about 15 people" showed up due to a communication mishap and quoted the publicist as saying the event would be rescheduled'; at Barnes & Noble in Cedar Rapids; and at Family Christian Store at the Village At Jordan Creek in West Des Moines.  On November 27 she did signings at the Barnes & Noble in Sioux City; and at the Holiday Inn in Council Bluffs.

On the morning of November 1 she spoke at the NAM forum in Pella; and in the evening she addressed a Reclaim Iowa rally/Iowa Association of Independent Baptists conference at First Fellowship Baptist Church in Marshalltown. 
On November 2 she appeared on "Mickelson in the Morning" live at WHO in Des Moines.  (In the afternoon she participated in the Presidential Tele-Town Hall Series hosted by National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the National Restaurant Association (NRA), the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC)).
At mid-day on November 3 she delivered an economic policy address at Iowa State University, Memorial Union in Ames; she appeared in studio on Steve Deace's radio show; and in the evening she appeared at the Dallas County GOP's 2nd annual Chili Supper at the Dallas County Fairgrounds in Adel. 
On the evening of November 4 she spoke at the Republican Party of Iowa's Reagan Dinner fundraiser at Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines.

 
OCTOBER

On October 13 she rallied outside the Boulders Conference Center outside the Majestic Hills Golf Course in Denison; and spoke at Morningside College in Sioux City.  On October 14 she held a town hall in the Campus Center at Dordt College in Sioux Center; a town hall at Rock Rapids Community Center in Rock Rapids; and a town hall at Estherville Public Library in Estherville.  On October 15 she stopped at Bloomers on Central Gourmet Coffee and Gift Shoppe in Fort Dodge; and held a "Bachmann Takes it to Perry" rally at the Hotel Pattee in Perry, during which she signed the Americans for Securing the Border pledge.

the Informed Choices Medical Clinic, which provides services to women dealing with crisis pregnancies, then appeared at a press conference backed by pastors at the Embassy Suites Hotel; did a meet and greet at Uncle Nancy's Coffeehouse and Eatery in Newton; and appear at a FAMiLY Leader fundraiser at Carroll's Pumpkin Farm in Grinnell, venue changed from the barn to the Carrolls' home due to appearance of a group of Grinnell students.


SEPTEMBER
>Rep. Michele Bachmann rallied at the Longbranch Hotel ballroom in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at mid-day on September 26, 2011 and she appeared on the Simon Conway show on WHO in the late afternoon.

Michele Bachmann visited Iowa on September 19-20, 2011, "focusing on her strategy to spur job creation and economic growth."  On September 19 she did a factory tour and employee roundtable at Sukup Manufacturing in Sheffield; and a factory tour and employee roundtable at OMJC Signals in Waterloo.  On the morning of September 20 she did tour and employee roundtable at Amend Packing Co. in Des Moines.


>Rep. Michele Bachmann made a short visit to Iowa on September 10, 2011.  Wearing a hybrid jersey, she joined Sen. Jack Whitver "for about an hour" before the Iowa-Iowa State football game at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames.

she "landed in Iowa at 3:30 am. The day began with a breakfast in Urbandale."  She then taped IPTV's "Iowa Press;" and at noon spoke at a fundraiser for the Scott County GOP's Lincoln Club at the Davenport Country Club in Pleasant Valley.
