2011
NOVEMBER
>Herman Cain visited Iowa on November 19, 2011.  He participated in The FAMiLY LEADER Thanksgiving Family Forum in Des Moines; and attended Gov. Terry Branstad's 65th Birthday Celebration at Adventureland Park in Altoona.

>Herman Cain visited Iowa on November 15, 2011.  In the morning he held a town hall in the courtyard adjacent to
Manna Java World Cafe in Dubuque; and in the afternoon he was to appear at his campaign headquarters in Urbandalecanceled after Occupy Wall Street protesters showed up; instead he spoke to reporters outside the Machine Shed restaurant in Urbandale.
 
OCTOBER

Herman Cain visited Iowa on October 22, 2011.  He rode the Hawkeye Express from Coralville to Kinnick Stadium, attended the Iowa vs. Indiana football game; attended the Iowa State vs. Texas A&M football game in Ames; and spoke at the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition Presidential Candidate Forum at the Fairgrounds in Des Moines

AUGUST

"Common Sense Solutions" bus tour in Iowa from August 8-13, 2011
On August 8 he made stops at
the Sioux City Jewish Coalition meeting at Eldon's Restaurant in Sioux City; at Cronk's Café in Denison; and at Bayliss Park in Council Bluffs. 
On August 9 he made stops at the Masonic Temple in Davenport; at the African American Museum and Cultural Center of Iowa in Cedar Rapids; at Park Place Center in Cedar Falls; and at
the Webster County GOP summer picnic at Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge.
On August 10 he made stops at the City Park Bandshell in Clear Lake; an unannounced stop for lunch at La Chiesa in Spencer; at the Forster Building in Rock Rapids; at the Dickinson County GOP Picnic with Congressman Steve King at the Parks Marina, Barefoot Bar in Okoboji.
On August 11 he participated in the
Republican Party of Iowa/FOX News/Washington Examiner Debate in Ames.
On August 12 he appeared at the National Foundation for Women Legislators meeting at the Downtown Des Moines Hotel in Des Moines; spoke at the Des Moines Register "Soapbox" at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines; appeared at the town square in Albia; and appeared at the town square in  Sigourney; and appeared on the Hannity show from the Iowa State Fair.

On August 13 he appeared at the PURSE PAC breakfast at the Gateway Hotel in Ames; and participated in the Iowa Straw Poll in Ames.

He spoke as part of the Greater Des Moines Partnership, Mediacom, and Iowa Politics.com "Presidential Candidate Series" at the Iowa Historical Building in Des Moines; in Oskaloosa he stopped at the Smokey Row and then met with residents and vendors at the Sweet Corn Serenade; and spoke at the Professional Educators of Iowa 30th anniversary event at the Jordan Creek Holiday Inn in West Des Moines.

JULY

>Herman Cain visited the Pottawattamie County Fair at Westfair Fairgrounds in Council Bluffs, Iowa on the afternoon of July 30, 2011.

He spoke at a Scott Country Republican Women meeting at Thunder Bay Grille in Davenport; and opened his state campaign headquarters at 8550 New York Ave. in Urbandale.


>Herman Cain visited Iowa on July 3, 2011.  He did a meet and greet at the Warren County American Legion in Indianola; and a meet and greet at Godfather's Pizza in Winterset.


JUNE
>Herman Cain visited Iowa on June 22, 2011.  He did a meet and greet at Legends Bar in Marshalltown as part of the Iowa Tea Party bus tour;
a meet and greet at the Fire Department in Iowa Falls; a meet and greet at Royal Cafe in Story City; and in the evening held a rally at the PIPAC Centre on the Lake in Cedar Falls.

participated in The FAMiLY LEADER's Presidential Lecture Series on June 6, 2011, doing three stops in Iowa: Dordt College in Sioux Center, Pella Christian High School in Pella, and the University of Iowa in Iowa City.

MAY

>Herman Cain was the guest speaker at the Pottawattamie County Republican Party's Lincoln/Reagan Day Dinner at the Student Center at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa on the evening of May 20, 2011.


>Herman Cain visited Iowa on May 16-17, 2011.  In Des Moines on May 16 he met with the Iowa Senate Republican caucus; met with Gov. Branstad and Lt. Gov. Reynolds; appeared on the Simon Conway show on WHO 1040; and hosted a town hall meeting with supporters at Smokey Row Coffee Cafe.  At mid-day on May 17 he held a town hall meeting with supporters at Fischer Community Center in Marshalltown; and in the evening spoke at a fundraiser for the Linn County Republican Central Committee at the Longbranch Hotel and Convention Center in Cedar Rapids.


APRIL

>Herman Cain visited eastern Iowa on April 19, 2011.  He spoke at a X Club luncheon (local business organization) at Elmcrest Golf and Country Club in Cedar Rapids; visited the Ar-Jay Center in Cedar Rapids; and spoke to the Clinton County GOP at Rastrelli's Restaurant in Clinton.

Herman Cain visited Iowa on March 22-23, 2011.  On the evening of March 22 he spoke at the Polk County GOP meeting at the Holiday Inn in downtown Des Moines.  On March 23 he spoke to the West Side Conservative Club at The Machine Shed in Urbandale; and at
the Network of Iowa Christian Home Educators (NICHE)'s 4th annual home school day at the State Capitol in Des Moines.

>Herman Cain visited Iowa on March 7-10, 2011 On the evening of March 7 he participated in the IFFC's "2012 Republican Presidential Candidates Meet and Greet Event" at Point of Grace Church in Waukee; then appeared on "On the Record with Greta Van Sustern." 
On March 8 he did a Leaders Breakfast at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery in Newton; a Cain Coffee House at the Fisher Community Center in Marshalltown; a Leaders Lunch at the Dublin Bay Restaurant in Ames; and will spoke at the Woodbury County GOP Dinner at Lewis Bowl annex (Emma's Event Center ) in Sioux City.
On March 9 he did a Leaders Breakfast at the Habitué Coffeehouse and Creperie in LeMars; a Leaders Lunch at The White House Inn in Paulina this was changed to a luncheon at the Holiday Inn in Sioux City; and a stop at Danny's Sport Spot in Cherokee.
On March 10 he did a Leaders Breakfast at Tish's Restaurant in Council Bluffs.


FEBRUARY

Herman Cain spoke to the Iowa Restaurant Association in Des Moines, Iowa on February 16, 2011.


JANUARY
>
Herman Cain visited Iowa on January 14-15, 2011.  On January 14 he had private meetings with activists and in the evening attended the Inaugural Ball at Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines.  On January 15 he met with a group of activists in a Cain Leader Luncheon at the Longbranch Hotel and Convention Center in Cedar Rapids; and did a Cain Coffee meet and greet at Sky Event Center in Waterloo.

>Herman Cain visited Iowa on January 8-9, 2011.  On January 8 in Council Bluffs he had lunch with Tea Party and GOP leaders, and hosted a "Cain Coffe" at Tish's Restaurant.  On the afternoon of January 9, he hosted a "Cain Coffee" at the Hilton Garden in Sioux City.
