DECEMBER
>Gov. Rick Perry resumed his bus tour in Iowa from December 27, 2011 and continued to campaign through January 3, 2012
On December 27 he did a meet and greet at Main Street Café in Council Bluffs; a meet and greet at the Glenn Miller Museum in Clarinda; a meet and greet at Adams Street Espresso in Creston; a town hall meeting at Clarke Electric Co-Op in Osceola.
On December 28 he addressed the Westside Conservative Club Breakfast at the Machine Shed Restaurant in Urbandale; did KCCI's "Dining with the Undecideds" at the home of Becky Beach in Des Moines; did a meet and greet at The Sports Page in Indianola; a meet and greet at the Smokey Row Coffee Shop in Pella; and a town hall meeting at the Smokey Row Coffee Shop in Oskaloosa.
On December 29 he did a meet and greet at Coffee Corner in Washington; a meet and greet at the Blue Strawberry Coffee Company in Cedar Rapids; and a town hall meeting at Fisher Community Center in Marshalltown.
On December 30 he did a meet and greet at Doughy Joey's Pizza in Waterloo; a meet and greet at the Fainting Goat in Waverly; and appeared at a fundraiser for the Cerro Gordo County GOP at the Mason City Country Club in Mason City.
On Deceember 31 he did a meet and greet at Bloomers at Central Gourmet Coffee and Gift Shoppe in Fort Dodge; a meet and greet at the the Gigglin' Goat in Boone; and, as reported by several news outlets, made an unannounced visit to the home of Marlow Remmers, a precinct leader in West Des Moines and knocked on a few doors in the neighborhood.
On January 1 in the morning he went for a run at Racoon River Park in West Des Moines; and attended church service at the Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines..
On January 2 he did a meet and greet at Stoney Creek Inn in Sioux City; a meet and greet at Santa Maria Vineyard & Winery in Carroll; and rallied at the Hotel Pattee in Perry.
On January 3 he spoke at a campaign caucus training at the Sheraton West Des Moines; an employee town hall at Principal Financial Group in Des Moines; an employee town hall at Nationwide in Des Moines; spoke to a caucus gathering at Point of Grace Church in Waukee; spoke to a caucus gathering at Seven Flags Event Center in Clive; and spoke at his caucus night event at the Sheraton West Des Moines.

>Gov. Rick Perry, wife Anita and surrogates are doing a 2 1/2 week, 42 city bus tour in Iowa from December 14-22, 2011 and resuming December 27 (December 23-26 off for Christmas).

On December 14 he held a town hall meeting at Bayliss Park Hall in Council Bluffs; did a Main Street walk in the Town Square in Harlan including a stop at the Coffee Plant; did a meet and greet at Cronk's Café Restaurant and Lounge in Denison; and he flew to Des Moines and spoke at the premiere of "The Gift of Life" at Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines.
On December 15 he participated in the FOX News debate at the Sioux City Convention Center in Sioux City.
On December 16 he did a meet and greet at Copper Cup Coffee Shop in Cherokee; and a meet and greet at Grand Central Coffee Station in Storm Lake.
On December 17 he did a meet and greet at La Chiesa Restaurant in Spencer, and then made an unannouced stop at Sisters Mainstreet Café in Spencer; a meet and greet at Chrome Country Inn in Algona; a meet and greet at Cabin Coffee Company in Clear Lake; and a town hall meeting at Music Man Square in Mason City.
On December 18 he attended church service at Clear Lake Evangelical Free Church in Clear Lake; attend church service at First Wesleyan Church in Charles City; had lunch at Dave's Restaurant in Charles City; did a meet and greet at Chickasaw Event Center in New Hampton; and held a town hall meeting at the Winneshiek Hotel's Steyer Opera House in Decorah.
On December 19 he did a meet and greet at Johnson's Restaurant in Elkader; a meet and greet at the Pizza Ranch in Manchester; a meet and greet at Country Junction Restaurant in Dyersville; and a meet and greet at MannaJava World Café in Dubuque.
On December 20, joined by Gov. Bobby Jindal, he did a meet and greet at the Decker Hotel in Maquoketa; a main street walk in DeWitt from Whisk Away Café to Hall of Fame Pizza and Wings; a meet and greet at the Candlelight Inn in Clinton; and a town hall meeting at Figge Art Museum in Davenport.
On December 21, joined by Gov. Bobby Jindal, he made a lunch/bus stop at Port City Underground in Muscatine; did a meet and greet at The Button Factory restaurant in Muscatine; and a meet and greet at De Brito Baking Bistro in Mt. Pleasant.
On December 22 he took a short ride on the press bus from the Holiday Inn Express to Drake on the Riverfront in Burlington where he did a breakfast/meet and greet; did a meet and greet at Kuhly's Bar & Grill in Ottumwa; and did a tour and employee town hall at TPI Iowa in Newton.

>Gov. Rick Perry visited Iowa on December 9-11, 2011On December 9 he met with the Des Moines Register editorial board.  On December 10 he participated in the ABC News/Republican Party of Iowa Debate at Drake University.  On December 11 he spoke to the congregation Point of Grace Church in Waukee; did a "Conversations with the Candidates” half-hour televised interview at IPTV in Johnston; and spoke at ("a meet and greet") at Café Diem Coffee House in Ames.

(Anita Perry is scheduled to visit Iowa on December 8-9, 2011.  On December 8 she plans to attend the Iowa Farm Bureau Pancake Breakfast at the Polk County Convention Complex in Des Moines; speak at Simpson College in Indianola; speak at Cornell College in Mount Vernon;
and speak at the Five Seasons Republican Women's Christmas Party at Cedar Rapids Country Club in Cedar Rapids.  On December 9 she plans to speak at a Clinton County Republican Women's luncheon at the home of Suzanne Rose in Clinton).

NOVEMBER

>Gov. Rick Perry visited Iowa on November 19, 2011.  He participated in The FAMiLY LEADER Thanksgiving Family Forum in Des Moines; and attended Gov. Terry Branstad's 65th Birthday Celebration at Adventureland Park in Altoona.

>Gov. Rick Perry visited Bettendorf, Iowa on November 14-15, 2011.  On the evening of November 14 he was the featured speaker at the
Scott County Republicans' 3rd annual Ronald Reagan Dinner at the QC Waterfront Convention Center.  On the morning of November 15, joined by Gov. Sam Brownback, he held a town hall meeting on government reform at the Schebler manufacturing facility.

On the afternoon of November 3 he did a plant tour and employee town hall at Pioneer Hi-Bred in Johnston; and in the evening he made an unannounced stop at the Court Avenue Brewing Company in Des Moines for a pizza and beerOn November 4 in Des Moines he made an unannounced stop at Zanzibar's Coffee Adventure; appeared live in-studio with Jan Mickelson at WHO; did a Des Moines Register interview; taped a long segment with AARP as part of their issues series; and in the evening spoke at the Republican Party of Iowa's Reagan Dinner fundraiser at Hy-Vee Hall.

>Gov. Rick Perry visited Iowa on November 1, 2011.  He spoke at the NAM forum in Pella; did a meet and greet at Drake Diner in Des Moines; and held an education and economic town hall at the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines, Stoner Studio Theater in Des Moines.
 
OCTOBER

(Anita Perry is scheduled to visit Iowa on October 28-29, 2011.  On the evening of October 28 she plans to participate in a meet and greet at Raccoon Valley Bank Community House in Adel.  On October 29 she plans to speak at the
National Federation of Republican Assemblies Convention Iowa Straw Poll at the Polk County Convention Center in Des Moines).


 >Gov. Rick Perry visited Iowa on October 22, 2011.  He hunted pheasant with Congressman King at the Loess Hills Hunting Preserve in Merrill; attended a fundraiser for State Rep. Jeff Kaufmann at Kaufmann's farm in Wilton; and spoke at the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition Presidential Candidate Forum at the Fairgrounds in Des Moines.

Iowa on October 7-8, 2011.  On the evening of October 7 he was the special guest at the Johnson County Republicans' Fall BBQ and Fund Raiser at Clear Creek-Amana High School in Tiffin.  On October 8 he held a meet and greet at McCarthy and Bailey's Irish Pub in Sioux City; hold a meet and greet at Blue Mountain Culinary Emporium in Orange City; and held a meet and greet at Pizza Ranch in Spencer.

SEPTEMBER

(Anita Perry is visiting Iowa on September 27-28, 2011.  On September 27 she opened Perry campaign headquarters in West Des Moines; and speak at a Polk County Republican Party meet and greet at DeWaay Center in Clive.  On September 28 she is to meet and greet with attendees of the West Side Conservative Breakfast Club at the Iowa Machine Shed Restaurant in Urbandale; and tour Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.)

Rick Perry visited Iowa on September 15-16, 2011.  On September 15 he spoke at a Greene County GOP fundraiser at the Greene County Fairgrounds' Clover Hall in Jefferson.  On September 16 he did a meet and greet at Uncle Nancy's Coffee house and Eatery in Newton; addressed the Iowa Credit Union's annual convention at the Polk County Convention Complex; toured and spoke at the Coca-Cola Bottling Plan in Atlantic; and did a meet and greet at Tish’s Restaurant in Council Bluffs.

AUGUST

>Gov. Rick Perry visited Iowa on August 27, 2011.  He spoke at the Iowa Corn Growers annual meeting and policy conference at the Sheraton Hotel in West Des Moines; held a meet and greet at The Vine Coffehouse in Ottumwa; and spoke at the Polk County Republican Summer Picnic at Jalapeño's Pete's at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines.

>Rep. Gov. Rick Perry visited Iowa on August 14-16, 2011.  On August 14 he spoke at 4th Annual Black Hawk County Lincoln Day Dinner at the Electric Park Ballroom in Waterloo.  On August 15 he visited the Iowa State Fair including appearances on the Jan Mickelson show from the WHO Radio Crystal Studio, at the Des Moines Register "Soapbox" and at the Iowa GOP booth; attended a meet and greet at the Hamburg Inn No. 2 in Iowa City; and a meet and greet at the home of Linn County GOP chair Steve and Connie Armstrong in Cedar Rapids.  On August 16 he toured the warehouse and spoke to employees at DC Taylor Roofing in Cedar Rapids; hosted a roundtable with business leaders at Star Restaurant in Dubuque; and attended a meet and greet at the Iowa 80 Group (world's largest truckstop) in Walcott.
