Rick Santorum visited Iowa on June 20-21, 2011On June 20 he plans do a meet and greet as a guest of the Story County Conservative Women Group at Stone Brooke Clubhouse in Ames; hold a meet and greet at the Hy-Vee in Iowa Falls these first two events were canceled due to flight delays;  held a meet and greet at Second Street Emporium in Webster City; and address the Story County GOP Central Committee at the Pizza Ranch in Ames.  On June 21 he appeared on "America's Newsroom" on FOX; held a press avail. at the State Capitol in Des Moines after addressing the Iowa State Senate Republican Caucus; was the special guest at a meet and greet hosted by Steve and Jan Boender at their Still Waters Iowa farm family cabin in Oskaloosa; did a meet and greet, part of the Iowa Tea Party bus tour, at Adams Espresso in Creston; and was the featured guest at a house party sponsored by the Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition at the home of Drew and Kris Ranney in Council Bluffs.

On August 18 he attended a breakfast event for Dave Jamison, candidate for State Treasurer, at Olde Main Brewing Company in Ames; attended the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, including an interview with Jan Mickelson, guest chef at the Pork tent, and stopping by the Republican Party of Iowa booth; and [closed press] joined Sen. Chuck Grassley for an event on behalf of Pat Grassley, candidate for State House District 17,
at the home of Matt and Erica Upmeyer in West Des Moines.

Rick Santorum visited Iowa on June 25-26, 2010.  On June 25 he was the featured guest at the Scott County Republican Party’s Lincoln Club luncheon at the Davenport Country Club in Pleasant Valley; and was the special guest at a fundraising dinner for State Senate candidate Sandy Greiner at the Washington County Conservation Center
