Iowa GOP Announces 2011 Reagan Dinner Speaking Order
Five GOP presidential hopefuls featured at Friday event
 
DES MOINES- The Iowa GOP today released the approximate speaking schedule for the 2011 Ronald Reagan Dinner set to take place the evening of Friday, November 4 at Hy-Vee Hall in downtown Des Moines. Each candidate will have ten minutes of total speaking time before an audience of Iowa’s most influential Republican office holders and activists, as well as a live national television audience on C-SPAN2.
 
Confirmed Republican presidential candidates include U.S. Representative Michelle Bachmann, former U.S. Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, U.S. Representative Ron Paul, former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, and Texas Governor Rick Perry. Iowa Republican officials speaking include U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley, Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds, and Iowa GOP Chairman Matt Strawn.
 
Iowa GOP officials today announced VIP seating for the dinner is sold out, but a limited number of general seating dinner tickets remain. The $75 dinner tickets can be reserved by calling (515) 282-8105, emailing RSVP@iowagop.org, or purchasing securely online at www.iowagop.org.

Iowa GOP Sets 2011 Ronald Reagan Dinner for Friday, November 4
Annual event to feature line-up of GOP presidential contenders
 
DES MOINES –Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Matt Strawn today announced the Party’s annual Ronald Reagan Dinner will be held on Friday, November 4 at Hy-Vee Hall in downtown Des Moines, Iowa.
 
The Iowa GOP Reagan Dinner, the largest annual fundraiser for the Iowa GOP, will feature speeches by Republican presidential candidates. Chairman Strawn indicated the invited candidates include: U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, U.S. Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum.

“I encourage all Iowans to attend and learn about our candidates’ principled solutions for addressing the challenges facing our Nation,” said Strawn. “Not only does this event greatly boost Republican organizing efforts in Iowa, but it will provide a tremendous opportunity for our presidential candidates to address and meet thousands of Iowa’s most influential Republican activists.” 

The 2011 Reagan Dinner will take place the evening of Friday, November 4 at Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., while the program and dinner are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets for the 2011 Reagan Dinner are $75 each for general seating, $150 each for Premium Reserved Seating, $1,000 for a table of ten, or $1,500 for a table of ten in the Premium, VIP section. Strawn also announced the Iowa GOP will offer Iowans the opportunity to earn tickets to the 2011 Reagan Dinner free of charge through volunteer activities in support of the Republican nominee in Iowa Senate District 18. The recent vacancy in the Linn County-based district gives Iowa Republicans an opportunity to end one-party, Democratic control of the Iowa Senate. To earn a ticket through volunteer activities, Iowans should contact the Iowa GOP at 515-282-8105.
