Subject: Ron Paul Needs YOU Saturday
Dear Joe,
This Saturday, March 10, is the most important day yet in
our fight to WIN Iowa
for Ron Paul!
That’s when your County Republican Convention takes
place - and Ron Paul is counting on you to be there.
As a delegate or alternate to your Republican County
Convention this Saturday, you have an opportunity to help select which
delegates will attend the District and State Convention in Iowa.
Remember, all our hard work is meaningless unless we finish
the process by electing as many Ron Paul supporters as delegates as
possible.
You’ll be contacted by our campaign before
Saturday’s convention, but below is some important information
you’ll want to be familiar with so you can help Ron Paul.
First: Make sure you attend your County Convention
on Saturday – whether you’re a delegate or an alternate.
To find out your Convention location and times, just check
your delegate packet. But if you haven’t yet received your
delegate
packet, call your County
GOP leadership and ask
them for convention details.
GOP leadership information can be found HERE.
Second: Once at your Convention, please run for delegate to
the Republican District Convention taking place on April 21.
Again, check your delegate packet for your County’s rules
concerning District delegate election.
Some counties will have a sign-up sheet for the
District/State conventions at the registration tables as soon as you
walk in
the door. If that’s the case for your county, be sure to sign up
to go,
and be prepared to pay the $40 fee as you register.
Other counties will nominate delegates from the floor to the
District Convention. If your county does this, be sure to have
someone
nominate you to move on to the District Convention, or stand up and
volunteer as
soon as nominations open.
Remember, to get elected, the first key is to be aggressive,
so make sure you jump up as soon as nominations are open.
If there are any votes, make sure you vote ONLY for Ron Paul
supporters. A vote for anyone who is not a Ron Paul supporter
could cost us
seats at the District and State Conventions.
Becoming a delegate to your District and State Convention is
fun, easy, and critical to helping Ron Paul win the Republican
nomination.
So please, make sure to attend your County Convention
this Saturday, March 10.
Together, you and I can Restore America NOW!
For Liberty,
Drew Ivers
Iowa Campaign Chairman
