WINDHAM – The New Hampshire chapter of Americans for Prosperity Foundation (AFPF) is pleased to announce that Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty is confirmed to participate in the organization’s first-ever Presidential summit on “Spending and Job Creation” on April 29 at The Executive Court in Manchester. Confirmed attendees also include former US Senator Rick Santorum and businessman Herman Cain.

“Tim Pawlenty is a true fiscal conservative who has made it a priority to cut wasteful government spending at the state level,” said AFPF President Tim Phillips. “He has kept his pledge not to raise the Minnesota tax burden in order to balance the budget. He knows that we cannot continue to spend our way to prosperity and we are thrilled to have him participate in AFP Foundation’s first-ever presidential summit.”

Invited guests include former Governor Mitt Romney (R-MA), Governor Haley Barbour (R-MS), former Governor Sarah Palin (R-AK), former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and former Governor Mike Huckabee (R-AR).

“The summit will provide the people of New Hampshire an opportunity to hear firsthand from prospective Presidential candidates. The issues covered will include government spending and job creation,” said AFPF-New Hampshire State Director Corey Lewandowski. “We look forward to a lively debate on the issues. Once again, the people of New Hampshire will play a critical role in determining the priorities of the next presidential campaign,” Lewandowski concluded.

Before the presidential summit that same evening, AFPF will host a dinner honoring Ovide Lamontagne as “Conservative of the Year.” The dinner begins at 7:00pm, followed by the summit at 8:00pm.

As additional candidates confirm attendance and the final host committee is completed, AFP Foundation will update all relevant parties. For more information or to RSVP to the dinner and Summit, please visit: http://www.americansforprosperity.org/new-hampshire
