CONCORD- In
an afternoon press conference, New Hampshire GOP Chairman Jack Kimball
and Iowa GOP Chairman Matt Strawn spoke about the bond that unites
their states’ traditional early nominating contests.
After the conference, Chairman Kimball released the following statement.
“I stand here today with my counterpart, Iowa Republican Party Chairman
Matt Strawn to tell you we are unified by our states’ common goals to
do whatever is necessary to enforce the rules of the RNC and maintain
the traditional roles of Iowa and New Hampshire in the nominating
process. It is important for our Presidential candidates to
have that
face to face contact with the voters in Iowa and New Hampshire because
they really do the vetting for the country. New Hampshire
will hold
the first-in-the-nation primary and all that matters at the end of the
day is we as Republicans will stand together to reject the Obama
agenda."
