Will Host 2011 Midwest Leadership Conference,
Presidential Forum
Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Tony Sutton and
Deputy Chairman Michael Brodkorb today announced that the Party will
host the
2011 Midwest Leadership Conference at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel
from
October 7-8, 2011. The 2011 Midwest Leadership Conference will include
a forum
of GOP presidential hopefuls, activist trainings, and speeches by
notable
conservative leaders. More details will be released in the near future.

Minnesota will be hosting the 2011 Midwest Leadership Conference. With
a full
slate of events, including a presidential candidate forum, activist
trainings,
and a series of speeches from conservative leaders, the 2011 Midwest
Leadership
Conference promises to be an exciting and memorable experience for
Republican
activists from across the country," stated Republican Party of
Minnesota
Chairman Tony Sutton.
"The Midwest Leadership Conference will be one of the
premier political events of 2011. Along with Chairman Sutton, I look
forward to
working with our tremendous activists, elected officials and staff to
showcase
our great state during this one of a kind conference," said Republican
Party of Minnesota Deputy Chairman Michael Brodkorb.
The Midwest Leadership Conference is hosted every two years
by a state in the Republican National Committee's Midwest Region.
Minnesota previously
hosted the Midwest Leadership Conference in 2001 with keynote speaker
Vice
President Dick Cheney. States in the Midwest Region include Ohio,
Missouri, Kansas,
Nebraska, Wisconsin,
North Dakota, South Dakota, Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, Illinois and
Minnesota.
