On January 9 he did a meet and greet at Mama Penn's in Anderson; a Main Street walk in Pickens, starting at the Pickens County Courthouse ad ending at the Gatehouse Restaurant; addressed the First Monday Club luncheon at the Poinsett Club in Greenville; and held a meet and greet at Stax's Original Restaurant in Greenville.
On January 10 he did a meet and greet at Kinch's in Rock Hill; a town hall at Sun City Lake House in Fort Mill; and a meet and greet at Shealy's Bar-B-Que in Leesville.
On January 11 he did a meet and greet at Lizard's Thicket in Lexington; a meet and greet at Doc's Barbecue and Southern Buffet in Columbia; a Main Street walk in Aiken, starting atThe Gun Rack and ending at Lionel Smith Ltd.; a town hall meeting at MunicipalBuilding Conference Center in Aiken; and a meet and greet at Al's Family Restaurant in North Augusta.

On January 14 he did a meet and greet at Page's Okra Grill in Mount Pleasant; participated in the "Huckabee Forum: South Carolina Undecided" at the College of Charleston in Charleston; and did a Main Street walk in Georgetown, starting at the town clock and going down Front Street.
On January 15 he addressed the Faith & Freedom/South Carolina GOP Prayer Breakfast at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach; and speak at the South Carolina Tea Party's first statewide convention at the Springmaid Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach.ed.not confirmed.
On January 16 he spoke at a Corporate & Community Awards Breakfast (part of a MLK Jr. celebration) at the Canal Street Recreation Center in Myrtle Beach; he participated in a CafeMom townhall meeting hosted by Frank Luntz and Lindsay Ferrier at Fresh Brewed Coffee House in Myrtle Beach; spoke at the South Carolina Faith & Freedom Coalition Presidential Kick Off at the Faith & Freedom Coalition Presidential Pavilion in Myrtle Beach; and participated in the SCGOP/Fox News Channel/Wall Street Journal Presidential Debate at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach.
On January 17 he held a town hall meeting at the VFW in Murrells Inlet; appeared at a lunch fundraiser for the Florence County GOP at The Drive In Restaurant in Florence (acc. CarolinaLive.com he had a beef gyro); participated in the SC BIPEC forum at the Marriott Hotel in Columbia; and spoke at The Response prayer gathering at TD Convention Center in Greenville.
On January 18 he plans a meet and greet at Pizza Factory in Mauldin; a meet and greet at Bob Jones University in Greenville; he did a Main Street walk in Greer, along Trade Street, a meet and greet at Southern Thyme in Greer; and participated in the Personhood USA Forum at the Hilton Hotel in Greenville.
On January 19 in the morning he plans to speak at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference at the College of Charleston in Charleston; and in the evening he will participate in the CNN/SRLC debate at the Carolina First Arena at the College of Charleston in Charleston.he held a press conference at Hyatt Place in North Charleston where he announced suspension of his campaign and his endorsement of former Speaker Newt Gingrich.
On January 20 he plans a meet and greet at Hudson's Smokehouse in Lexington; and a meet and greet at Wade's Restaurant in Spartanburg.

Rick Perry visited SC on December 8, 2011.  He held a Veterans for Perry press conference aboard the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant; did a main street walk in Beaufort on Bay Street starting at Harvey's Barber Shop and concluding at Blackstone's Café for lunch; did a town hall meeting in the Pinckney Social Hall at the Del Webb Community Center (Sun City) in Okatie; and dinner at the Stax Omega Diner in Greenville.

NOVEMBER

(Anita Perry is scheduled to visit SC on November 28-29, 2011.  On November 28 she plans to speak to the Socastee High Republican Club at Socastee High School;
speak at the Waccamaw Neck Republican Club meeting at Jerry Rovner's residence in Pawley's Island; and speak to the Georgetown County GOP Patriot's Club meeting at the Georgetown County Library in Georgetown.  On November 29 she plans breakfast with activists at Daniel Island Grill in Daniel Island; a tour of the Medal of Honor Museum on board the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant; and a meet and greet at Charleston Southern University in North Charleston.)

Tim Scott's "First in the South" Presidential Town Hall Series at Horry Georgetown Technical College in Conway; and participate in Palmetto Freedom Forum in Columbia.Perry cancelled his appearance at the Palmetto Freedom Forum in order to fly back to Texas to deal with fires there.
 
AUGUST

>Gov. Rick Perry visited SC on August 19-20, 2011.  On August 19 he did a breakfast meet and greet at Bazen's Family Restaurant in Florence; spoke at Carolinas Hospital System in Florence where he was introduced/endorsed by physician and prominent fundraiser Eddie Floyd;
met with a group of legislators in Columbia; spoke at the SC GOP "First-in-the-South Presidential Luncheon Series" fundraiser at Clarion Inn Town House in Columbia; toured downtown Greenville with Mayor Knox White starting at City Hall (The Greenville News reported stops at Hot Dog King and Barkery Bistro); and attended a fundraising reception at the home of Dan Adams president and CEO of The Capital Corporation, in Greenville (reported by CNN).  On August 20 he held a breakfast meet and greet at Tommy's Country Ham House in Greenville where he was endorsed by former House Speaker David Wilkins; received the endorsement of Senate Majority Leader Harvey Peeler during a brief unannounced event in the parking lot outside Fatz Restaurant in Gaffney; and held a lunch meet and greet at Old Town Bistro in Rock Hill.
