Rick Santorum for President

Brochure, (front and two other panels shown), July 2011

an AMERICAN story of conviction and success

During his four years in the U.S. House of Representatives and twelve years as a U.S. Senator, Rick Santorum earned the reputation as a passionate fighter for conservative values and a loud voice for smaller government, less wasteful spending, a strong national defense, and a return to the principles our country was founded on.

Rick also aggressively went after taxpayer abuse wherever he found it.  He led the fight to expose the abuses of the Congressional Bank and Congressional Post Office after it was uncovered that Members of Congress were misusing funds.  And Rick was an important author and the Senate floor manager of the 1996 Welfare Reform Act, which has been hailed as one of the most successful pieces of reform legislation in our country's history.

Rick's eight years on the Senate Armed Services Committee gave him critical experience in understanding national defense and our nation's foreign policy challenges.  He used this experience to author important legislation, including the Syria Accountability Act and the Iran Freedom and Support Act, to fight terrorism and terrorist states.

Above all, Rick has been a successful leader in protecting families and the unborn.  He's been an advocate and consistent proponent of protecting traditional marriage.  He authored and passed critical anti-abortion legislation that ended the gruesome procedure known as partial birth abortion.  And Rick wrote legislation to protect children from internet predators.
