Rick Santorum: The Most Electable Republican Candidate

Santorum is the only candidate in many recent polls currently predicted to win head to head against President Obama

In the most recent Rasmussen Presidential Tracking Poll, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum is at 45% over President Obama at 44%

According to the Rasmussen Reports, 12% of the voting population are uncommitted voters that cannot commit to either Romney or Obama

No difference between President Obama and Romney/Gingrich on bank bailouts, individual healthcare mandate, and cap & trade.  Santorum opposed all three.  Clear difference with President Obama

Santorum beat incumbent Democrats in a Pennsylvania House district that leaned toward Democrats and two Senate races in a state with more registered Democrats than Republicans

Santorum is the only candidate to be elected to previous office against an incumbent Democrat and now he is poised to do it against an incumbent President

"Rick Santorum represents the most conservative candidate still standing who can articulate both fiscal and social conservative values — and live them." - Michelle Malkin / "For Santorum"

"I reject the conventional wisdom that Rick Santorum could not win the general election, because I believe he represents the best contrast to Obama and is the least vulnerable to attack, among other reasons."  - David Limbaugh / "GOP's 'Buckley Rule' Points to Santorum"
