On the walkway several
delegates discussed the merits of the candidates. Kevin Richter
of Windermere (unincorporated Orange County) is a pistol
instructor. As a businessman, he likes Mitt Romney. "He
knows how to create jobs," Richter said. Meanwhile, Cindy
Salazar, who works for a tech firm in Fort Lauderdale, likes Newt
Gingrich. "Ask anybody here who is the smartest man on stage and
resoundingly the answer would be Newt Gingrich. |

"I'm looking for leadership,"
said David Dodge, chairman of Bradford County Republicans. "I
will be watching. I will be listening." Dodge said, "We
have got to get back to the point where the citizen is in control of
the government, rather than the other way around.

Dr. Neil and Joan Curley of
Naples. Dr. Curley said he appreciated the opportunity to
"actually see them [the candidates] in person and watch their body
language."

was leaning towards Santorum. |

Mary Nail of Cocoa Beach likes
Sarah Palin. "She is going to turn the Titanic around before it
hits the iceberg," Nail said.
