On May 26, 2011 former Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA), still an exploratory candidate for a few more days, met with business owners at Gino's East of Chicago on North Wells Street in Chicago in an open press event.  He tweeted:

In Chicago. Ready for some deep dish pizza and discussion about the economy with business owners at @ginoseast

Great deep dish at . Sending the extra slices to and his Chicago HQ team

However the gift was not well received.  Romney senior advisor Eric Fehrnstrom tweeted the next day:

Can't believe 's HQ turned away Romney's pizza delivery. Obama '08 wouldn't have done that. Obama '12 is uptight.
