Newt 2012 Announces New Arizona Gingrich Faith Leaders

Phoenix, AZ - Newt 2012 has announced new members to its Arizona Faith Leaders Coalition. The coalition is spearheading faith outreach and events leading up to the Arizona primary and the general election.

Reverend Eve Nunez, chair of the Arizona Latino Commission and state director of the NHCLC, serves as a state co-chair. She is joined by Pastor Tony Martinez, Superintendent of the Southwest District Assembly of God’s 100+ churches, and Pastor Juan Ramos of Love International Church in Phoenix, the largest Hispanic church in the state.

"I support Newt Gingrich because he shares the same conservative values that Latinos have and he is committed to taking the Immigration issue head on while respecting the sanctity and dignity of each human life” said Reverend Nunez.

Pastor Ramos echoed Reverend Nunez’ sentiment:

“Through out his campaign, Mr. Gingrich has been consistent in his position on important issues concerning the Latino community."

“We believe that he is the only one that will beat Obama,” said Pastor Martinez.

The coalition will join the national coalition, led by George Barna, Tim and Beverly LaHaye, Jim Garlow, Don Wildmon, J.C. Watts, Mat Staver, and Dr. Michael Youssef.

“I am excited to see the momentum from Arizona faith leaders building around my campaign and our national coalition” Newt Gingrich said. “They will be instrumental in helping us spread our message for religious liberty over the radical secularism of the Obama administration.”
