Atlanta, GA - Today, several North Carolina Republican legislators have endorsed Newt Gingrich for President.
Senate
Senator Jean Rouse Preston is the Joint Republican Caucus Leader in the North Carolina General Assembly. Senator Preston represents the state's second district.
House
Representative Harold J. Brubaker Former House Speaker, represents the state's 78th House district, which also includes constituents in Randolph County. Congressman Brubaker was Speaker of the House for two terms in the mid-90's, and was also the first Republican Speaker in North Carolina in the twentieth century.
Representative Julia Craven Howard represents the state's 79th House district.
Representative William C. McGee represents the 75th House district.
Representative Mitchell Smith Setzer represents the 89th House district.
Representative Carolyn Hewitt Justice represents the 16th House district.
Representative Marilyn Avila represents the 41st House district.
Representative Larry R. Brown represents the 73rd House district.
Representative George Cleveland represents the 14th House district.
Representative Tomas Roger West represents the state's 120th House district.
