Central, LA - Today Mayor of Central, Louisiana Shelton "Mac" Watts endorsed Newt Gingrich for President.
 
Watts serves as Mayor of one of the state's largest Republican municipalities, and has served in this role since the city's inception in 2005. Since then, he has worked, alongside community and council members to ensure that the residents of Central enjoy economic prosperity. Mayor Watts and his team established a 21st century model to how a city should operate, which has proven to only bring success to Central.  Under Watts' fiscally conservative leadership, Central has balanced its budget every year, and it has built up nearly $1 million in surplus.
