Hi everyone, from one Iowan to another. My name is
Michele Bachmann. I'm running to be president of the United
States in 2012. [cheers, applause]
Did anybody catch the debate last night? We sent a signal all
across the United States, and it's this: with your help tomorrow at
Ames, Iowa, we're going to make Barack Obama a one-term president.
[audience joins in chanting] [cheers, applause]
It doesn't get any better than that. It's going to be a great
election that's coming up and Iowans are going to a signal. This
is where Barack Obama got his start; this is where he's going to come
to his end. In Iowa. [cheers, applause]
Did you get the change and the hope you believed in? [audience:
"No!"]
It's time for a real change. We're going to repeal
Obamacare. [cheers, applause]
And today the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals already made their
decision. The unconstitutional individual mandate is
unconstitutional. [cheers, applause]
And as nominee of the Republican Party I will not rest until I elect 13
more titanium-spined Senators, and we're going to finally repeal
Obamacare, Dodd-Frank, turn the economy around, create jobs, and it
won't take more than three months to get the whole shooting match
already up to speed. Iowans get it; we're going to do it.
[cheers, applause]
Are you coming out to Ames tomorrow? [cheers]
Alright. Come on out. Come to our tent. We've got
Randy Travis live for you at our tent. We're going to have a
little Texas band; we're going to have Lone Star. We want you
there because tomorrow is the day that we make the down payment on
taking the country back. I'm coming out to shake your hand and
see you now. God bless you everyone... [cheers, applause]
