Iowa State Fair: Des Moines Register Soapbox back |
August 12, 2011--As with Mitt
Romney
the day before, DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was interrupted by
an
activist from the Center for Community Involvement. |
An aide holds Wasserman Schultz'
talking points before her speech. After the introduction,
Wasserman Schultz went on to POTUS Accomplishments: "Health care,
100,000 troops home from Iraq, DADT, Lily Ledbetter." On Jobs,
the talking points note, "2.4 million private sector jobs over the past
17 months, no longer are we bleeding three quarters of a million jobs
like we were at the end of the last Administration." |
