Male Voice: Mr. Speaker, the President of the United States.  [cheers]

TEXT: Have you heard it before?

Obama (2009): The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is now law.

Over the next two years, this plan will save or create 3.5 million jobs...

TEXT: In the last three years America has lost 1.7 million jobs

Obama (2009): We will double this nation's supply of renewable energy in the next three years...

TEXT: Since 2009 our renewable energy consumption has increased only 6%

Obama (2010): You can see the results of last year's investments in the California business that will put a thousand people to work making solar panels...

TEXT: He's talking about Solyndra...  The company went bankrupt, costing taxpayers $535 million, 1,100 jobs lost

Obama (2010): If America sits on the sidelines while other nations sign trade deals we will lose the chance to create jobs on our shores...

TEXT: The President waited nearly 3 years before signing any trade deals

Obama (2009): I pledge to cut the deficit in half by the end of my first term in office...

TEXT: The 2012 budget deficit is still over $1 trillion

Obama (2011): In the coming year, we'll also work to rebuild people's faith in the institution of government...

TEXT: 8 in 10 Americans are still dissatisfied with Washington
