American Crossroads
"Forward?" +
:30 ad from Sept. 5,
2012 run in CO, FL, IA, NV, NH, NC, OH and VA.
[Music] Male Announcer:
President
Obama
says he'll move us forward, but where's he taken us so
far?
America's worst
economic recovery ever.
Twenty-three
million of us without full-time work.
Family incomes
down.
Forty percent
living paycheck to paycheck.
And Obamacare's
new tax on middle class families.
All while Obama
racked up $5 trillion more in debt.
Is that really
forward, or backward?

New American Crossroads TV Ad Hits Obama on
Hollow Campaign Slogan, Failed Economic Record
New $6.6m TV ad will air in eight states over ten days
WASHINGTON – American Crossroads today launched a new television ad that blasts President Obama for his failed economic policies, and demonstrates that contrary to Obama’s “Forward” campaign slogan, America is really moving backward on his watch.
Supported by a $6.6 million television buy, the new 30-second ad will run in eight targeted states for ten days. The spot, entitled “Forward?” will run in the following states: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio and Virginia. The ad highlights a series of economic facts on the extent of Obama’s economic malaise, including that 40% of families are living paycheck to paycheck on Obama’s watch.
“For Barack Obama, ‘Forward’ is the new backward, because another four years of Obama’s economic policies will only keep moving America backward,” said American Crossroads communications director Jonathan Collegio. “Obama’s hollow campaign slogan is another attempt to divert attention from the fact that during Obama’s tenure, unemployment, household incomes, gas prices and the national debt are all getting worse.”
