Nonunion Delphi Workers
Let Freedom Ring Launches Ad Campaign
Exposing Unfair Treatment of Delphi Pensions
PHILADELPHIA—Today, Let Freedom Ring is announcing a $7 million online advertising campaign exposing how the Obama Administration terminated the pensions of Delphi’s nonunion workers while he bailed out the union workers’ pensions as part of the 2009 General Motors reorganization. Let Freedom Ring, a non-profit, non-partisan public policy membership organization, has purchased almost all the premium online video content from October 22 to November 6 in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio and Wisconsin. The ads feature Delphi workers who President Obama didn’t stand by despite his frequent campaign statement that “Standing by America’s workers was the right thing to do.”
“We’re announcing our campaign now because all this week Obama and the Democratic Party will be talking about how great the auto bailout was, but they won’t be talking about the non-union workers at Delphi they harmed through the bailout. We will be talking about it, and we will empower these workers to speak out with our $7 million advertising campaign, allowing swing voters in key swing states to hear the truth,” said Colin Hanna, President of Let Freedom Ring.
Let Freedom Ring’s advertisements tell the true story about the auto bailout’s unfair application and nonunion victims.
