"We the People"
+
:30 ad from Sept. 8, 2012 run in CO, FL, IA, OH, VA and WI.
[Music] Male Announcer: We the
people.
The middle class, who move our country forward.
Work hard.
Raise families.
And keep America strong.
But Mitt Romney's budget plan will hurt the middle class, raising
taxes on the average family by up to $2,000 while giving a tax break of
$250,000 to multi-millionaires.
Doesn't Mitt Romney understand? We can't rebuild America by
tearing down the middle class.

Notes: From the press
release...
Priorities USA Action today released a new
television ad focusing on the devastating impact Mitt Romney's tax plan
would
have on middle class families working hard for the American
Dream.
The ad features
independent analysis from the Tax Policy Center, which concludes that
the
average middle class family would have to pay an average $2,000 dollars
more in
order to pay for a new $250,000 tax cut for multi-millionaires like
Romney.
The ad is part of
Priorities USA Action’s new $30 million project that focuses on how the
Romney-Ryan policy proposals would hurt middle class families and
undermine
America economically. The 30-second spot will run on television and
online in
the battleground states of Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Ohio, Virginia and
Wisconsin.
“Americans do not accept Mitt Romney's vision that says the middle class should bear more of the tax burden so multimillionaires can enjoy another tax cut,” said Bill Burton, senior strategist for Priorities USA action. “To move our country forward, the middle class must come first.”
