touting Mitt Romney's proven leadership during the 2002 Olympics that
gave athletes "a huge sense of hope." The ad, which will air

and Derek Parra (2002 Gold Medalist, Speed Skating) as well as Fraser
Bullock (COO, 2002 Winter Games).
"Mitt Romney understands 'hope' is not when a politician reads well-crafted rhetoric, but rather, when Americans are once again empowered to make their own decisions, use their talents and achieve their dreams," said Charlie Spies, Treasurer of Restore Our Future. "Mitt Romney is the only presidential candidate who has shown proven leadership on the economy, transforming a deficit into a surplus during the 2002 Winter Olympics, balancing the budget without raising taxes in Massachusetts, and creating thousands of jobs in the private sector. Mitt Romney's real experience gives Americans hope."
