About Strong America Now

Strong America Now is a nonprofit organization dedicated to mobilizing and educating citizens to support only those Presidential candidates who commit to eliminating the deficit with no new taxes.

Strong America Now has a plan to cut the deficit that everyone can support. We propose every department, agency and program in the federal government go through the waste elimination process known as Lean Six Sigma. The process has proven successful in numerous private sector businesses, the U.S. Army, Naval Aviation and countless municipalities across the country. Unlike other plans to reduce the deficit, this plan is feasible because waste has no constituency.

Our grassroots efforts are gaining momentum. We began our efforts in Iowa, the first primary state, and are about to spread our reach to other early primary states. In Iowa, our goal is to have 50,000 people who commit to only support candidates who endorse the Strong America Now plan by the Iowa Caucuses. Right now, we have close to 20,000 Iowans who have signed our pledge. Regardless of where you live, we want you to join our efforts.

Tim Pawlenty have agreed to sign Strong America Now's pledge promising to tackle the debt and deficit by applying a waste-elimination process to the federal government if elected president.
