Travels of Vice President Joe Biden—June 2012

President Barack Obama  First Lady Michelle Obama   Vice President Joe Biden  ||  Former Gov. Mitt Romney

Vice President Biden did events in eight states—California, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Louisiana, North Carolina and Virginia.  A classic Biden trip was his "Strengthening the Middle Class" tour in eastern Iowa on June 26-27; in addition to the three events on the schedule, he did four unannounced events.  Biden delivered commencement addresses in Miami, Virginia Beach and at Sidwell Friends in DC.  Biden does not seem to be doing much fundraising; only four events for the re-election effort were noted (he also did events for the DSCC and Beau Biden).  On a personal note, he celebrated the wedding of his daughter Ashley on June 2.
