Volunteers
>The New Jersey campaign's primary focus was Pennsylvania.
From 10,000 call attempts per week in early
September, volunteer efforts increased steadily to 50,000 call attempts
per week by mid-October. Then Hurricane Sandy
hit, putting the campaign on hold for a couple of days as members of
the team helped with clean up. In the closing days, re-energized
volunteers concentrated on making GOTV calls.
Note: In Aug. 2012 Borshof succeeded Jackie
Cornell-Bechelli, who moved over to
become a deputy
field director in Pennsylvania. Sarah Jane Donofrio served as
deputy field
director from
June to Sept. 2012. The campaign's initial headquarters to Sept.
2012 was on

the better location in East Brunswick.
